CH Glennroe Debut at Trails End NAC, CGC

"Abby"

Abby - laying down

My first homebred champion is "Abby".  Abby is by Am/Can CH Glennroe Rob Roy of Telstar, SOM, "Scotty" , a two time top twenty contender and multiple group winner, and out of our foundation bitch, CH Glennroe Give Me One Reason OA, OAJ, NAC, CGC "Ellie" .

Abby began her show career with a bang winning a Grand Sweepstakes Award at the Sacramento Boxer Club Specialty April, 2001.  The next month, Abby won the 9-12 month fawn bitch class at the American Boxer Club National Specialty under judge Peter Baynes over 35 other puppy bitches.  What a thrill!  She was expertly handled by Cheryl Cates and Sonda Peterson.

Abby went on to complete 5 points toward her championship being shown by Cheryl Cates including a Group 4 at the Southern Oregon Kennel Club show under judge Beth Speich.  She later went on to win a four point major at the East Bay Boxer Club Specialty, Oct. 2001, with myself at the lead and out of the Bred By Exhibitor class.  Judge Adrian Woodfork awarded us this honor.  It was exciting to say the least!  After winning three singles, Abby and I then won our second major under judge RJ Moore and completed her championship in June of 2002.  All the remaining points were also out of the Bred By class.

Abby is a fun, smart bitch who is a joy to own, reflecting both her parents' wonderful personalities and physical traits.  Abby has her CGC, Canine Good Citizen title, demonstrating her manners around strangers and other dogs and wears it proudly.

Abby was bred to Ch Jem's Pearl Jam, SOM and whelped a litter of six puppies on August 7th, 2003.  Jam was a top twenty contender and best in show winner.  He has sired 28 champions to date.  Java has her champion title and Dilly is major pointed and well on her way to her championship.   See Abby's puppies.

Abby was bred a second time to Ch Rosend's Bo Diddley, SOM and whelped a litter of 4 puppies June 10th, 2005.  She was bred via frozen semen and surgical artificial insemination.  Bo was a gorgeous dog and top twenty contender in his time.  We look forward to Macy's future in the show ring.

Abby had her final litter August of 2006.  She was bred to Ch Dynamic-Shera's Court Jazzter "Andy" and had 5 puppies.  Latte' is staying here with us and we look forward to her show career, as well as her brothers, Jack & Porter, and it will be a lot of fun watching her other brother, Xac, in the obedience and agility ring.

Abby just earned her NADAC novice regular title, April 2007, with a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place respectively.  We are proud of her accomplishments in the conformation and agility rings and in the whelping box!
